The Corporation of Liberty is excited to announce that the Liberty Waterworks have teamed up with 120Water to provide you with an easy-to-use map that shows all the water service lines that are throughout the system. In 2021 the U.S. EPA updated the Lead and Copper rule (LCR), which mandates all water systems to take inventory of all water service lines and remove all lead lines within a certain amount of time.
In 2022, Liberty Waterworks have been working diligently by opening up every meter pit up and verifying the material of the service line on both the utility owned and the customer owned portion. This information will be available for the public via the Corporation of Liberty website.
